Commons Ford Ranch is an amazing place for an engagement session. Krysten and Tones loved the idea of a classic Texas field with sweeping views, tall golden grass, and watercolor sunsets. We frolicked through the brush, walked the trail, and utilized the barn as a backdrop – classic Texas! These two were completely down for a holi powder fight at the end, too! The colored powder is used during Holi in India, and more frequently during “color runs” in America. Check out about half way through the gallery for these spectacular shots.
That wasn’t all, though. They liked their session so much that they decided to do a second one. Kristen and Tones frequent the renaissance fair and take full advantage of any opportunity to dress up in costumes. We set up a time for a second session at night to create epic portraits. I almost forgot to mention the light sabers fight. Scroll to the very end of the gallery to see Kristen and Tones settle their differences like the Jedi’s they are.
This is some of the most fun I’ve ever had at an engagement session. I can’t wait for their wedding at the Houston Museum of Natural Science.
