From the epic views atop The Westin Austin Downtown to the modern, industrial environment of Trinity Hall, Marty and Coley’s wedding was a huge success. Brass Tacks Events turned the space into an elegant masterpiece, and the Westin provided the best place in Austin for a first look. Nicole’s New Orleans heritage made for an incredible party, complete with a second line and plenty of dancing.
Leading up to the wedding, we never talked about how they were same sex. I really liked that. It should, and is, as normal as any other wedding in my eyes in terms of two people being in love. The extra icing on the cake was how many people were there from both sides of the family loving and supporting as they would any other family member. The two same sex weddings I’ve been a part of were extra special and beyond beautiful. Love is love.
