Dalton reached out to me a few months ago with an exciting plan – travel to Austin from Dallas with his girlfriend to celebrate their one year anniversary for a photo session and propose at the end. Over the course of several phone calls, we decided South Congress was an excellent location to start. In my opinion, there is nothing more “Austin” than the colorful, vibrant energy of the SoCo district. So full of life and fun! From the South Congress Church down to Hotel San Jose gave us an abundance of scenery. For the big moment, we went down to the Waller Creek Boat House to watch the Bats fly out from under the Congress bridge at sunset. As the sky burst with color and the bats came whirring out, Dalton dropped to his knee and popped the question. She said, “Yes!” and crowds of spectators cheered from around! Fairy tale moment?
